| Rams Pull Off Thrilling 2-1 Win in Extras | The Rakisuta Rams used a top-flight performance from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Juro Esaki to beat the Denki Dynamics, 2-1, in 10 innings. The win gives Rakisuta a record of 8-7.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Rakisuta pinch hitter Takanori Matsui, facing Yoshiharu Miyagi, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Rams the 2-1 win.
"There's no quit in this team," said Rams manager Kinzo Yoshimura.
