Boosted by the 4-hit performance of Sukeichi Jimbo, the 7th overall pick in the 1969 draft, the Denki Dynamics defeated the Rakisuta Rams, 9-2. Now 3-12, the 1974 Rams have been wretched so far.

With Denki leading 2-1 in the top of the third, Jimbo hit a run-scoring single off Rakisuta hurler Kinichi Harada. It was the 12th hit of the season for Jimbo and put his team ahead, 3-1.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Dynamics," said Jimbo.
