Rams Pull Off Thrilling 5-4 Win in Extras
The Rakisuta Rams picked up a win at Rakisuta Stadium, topping the Kyoto Owls, 5-4. On the mound for Rakisuta was left-hander Kinya Wada. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win belonged to Ryuta Kai in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Seishiro Kikuchi took the loss for Kyoto. Kyoto drops to 4-5.

Rakisuta got a knockout punch from Glen McCauley. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Kinzo Yoshimura.
