| Rams Score Late to Beat Owls, 4-3 | The Rakisuta Rams scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Kyoto Owls at Rakisuta Stadium. Rakisuta pitcher Shigeyoshi Taira held his own in the contest. The loss drops Kyoto to 4-4.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Owls allowed the Rams to score the winning run.
