| Kingfishers Drop Dynamics, 6-2 | Fumimaro Yamauchi, who finished 5th in the EL in innings pitched with 206.2 last year, had a strong outing for the Yokohama Kingfishers against the Denki Dynamics at Kanda Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-2 win. In 9 innings, Yamauchi surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. With the win, Yokohama goes to 3-4.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Midori Kobayashi? The Yokohama center fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Kingfishers on top, 3-0. For the game, Kobayashi had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
