| Tight Tilt Goes to Reliables, 1-0 | Niou Nagao pitched a gem to lead Hosho to victory over the Denki Dynamics, 1-0. Earning his 1st save of the year was Shirai Takahashi. The Reliables, now 4-0, have hit the ground running this season.
In the bottom of the third, Hosho first baseman Bill Bloom had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and one out, Bloom stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 1-0, Hosho. For the game, he went 3-4 with 3 singles.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Denki manager Harlan Kowatch.
