Dick Couture was locked in. The right-hander led the Cleveland Foresters to a 4-3 win against the San Francisco Sailors at Forester Stadium. The Foresters now have a record of 57-67 with the win over San Francisco.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Cleveland trailing 3-2, Carlos Jaramillo hit a forkball from Eli Kershaw to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Foresters had a walk-off win.

"Dick pitched his heart out," said Cleveland manager Ray Parsons.
