| Cincinnati Beats Los Angeles, 4-1 | The home crowd had a good time watching the Los Angeles Stars and Cincinnati Cannons get after it.
Jack Turner pitched a gem to lead Cincinnati to victory over the Los Angeles Stars, 4-1. Charlie Wolf got the save, his 10th in 14 chances.
Cincinnati took a 4-1 lead on Mike Rocque's 22nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Rocque hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Los Angeles pitcher Bill Dunham visibly frustrated.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," Rocque said after the game.
After today's action, Cincinnati sits at 56-71; Los Angeles slips to 63-60. | |
