| Saints Lose, 6-2, at Dominion Stadium | The Toronto Wolves picked up a win at Dominion Stadium, knocking off the Montreal Saints, 6-2. Starting pitcher George Hoxworth played a key role in the triumph. Montreal is 3-2 after the loss.
Clyde Fisher had a big 3-run home run for the Wolves in the bottom of the first inning. With Toronto leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a sinker from John Mullins, who is the 7th-best prospect in the Saints organization, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Wolves on top, 5-0.
"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Hoxworth. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
