| Wranglers Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Kings | The Dallas Wranglers got a sterling performance from catcher Roscoe Daniels, but the Seattle Kings still prevailed, 7-6. Daniels was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Seattle reliever Davey Cronin picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Hunt absorbed the loss. With the loss, Dallas drops to 0-5.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Seattle right fielder Bob Glowacki, facing John Hunt, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Kings the 7-6 win.
"I warned the team before the game," losing manager George Waller told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win." | |
