A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Edwin Viramontes led the Toronto Wolves to a win over the Chicago Cougars, 8-1. The Wolves win now puts them at 51-71.

Viramontes got the Wolves off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single.

"What a lackluster performance," lamented losing manager Pug Bryan.
