Schneider contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Cleveland in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Schneider took a changeup from Jackie Thompson and stroked the home run to left-center. His 12th home run of the season allowed the Foresters to leap in front, 2-1.
"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Schneider told the Cleveland Chronicle. | |
