Milwaukee second baseman Paul Burkley made his presence felt in the 6-4 Arrows triumph over the Dallas Wranglers. Burkley went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Jim Hart closed the door for Milwaukee, picking up his 13th save of the year. The Arrows lead the Continental Association East by 2½ games.

Milwaukee went up, 6-4, on Jim Stogner's 21st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Stogner hit in the top of the ninth, left Dallas pitcher Johnny Manning shaking his head.

"The most important thing is that we won," Stogner said.
