| Kings Dealt 7-1 Home Loss | The Montreal Saints took on the Kansas City Kings at Prairie Park.
Saints first baseman Ham Flanders left his mark on his team's 7-1 win over the Kansas City Kings. Flanders, who leads the CA with a .389 batting average, was 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Montreal in the contest. By defeating Kansas City, the 8th-place Saints improved to 39-50.
Flanders came through for Montreal with a 2-run single in the top of the third. He hit a 1-1 fastball to right-center field, staking his team to a 2-0 lead.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Flanders.
