| Keystones Lasso 3-2 Victory | The Philadelphia Keystones locked up a win at Whitney Park, knocking off the Chicago Chiefs, 3-2. On the mound for Philadelphia was left-hander Jorge Arellano. He played a major role in the triumph. Arellano, the winner, moves to 10-12. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. By defeating Chicago, the last-place Keystones improved to 58-66.
Philadelphia used the bat of Joe Landry to get the win. The right fielder spanked a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Keystones ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it altered the outcome.
"I guess it's not time to put me out to pasture yet," said Arellano. | |
