| Cannons Clipped, 7-3 | The San Francisco Sailors trumped the Cincinnati Cannons, 7-3, at Tice Memorial Stadium II. San Francisco center fielder Ike Brown was terrific. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. At 55-67, San Francisco is in 4th place in the Continental Association West.
San Francisco took a 5-3 lead on Brown's 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jack Meeks in the top of the eighth, propelled San Francisco to the win.
