| Siniscalchi drives in 3 runs in Chiefs Win | With left fielder Joe Siniscalchi leading the charge, the Chicago Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Keystones, 9-5, at Whitney Park. Siniscalchi, who is tied for 7th in the FA with a .392 on-base percentage, was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Chicago is now 49-72, while Philadelphia is 57-65.
In the bottom of the sixth, Chicago first baseman Bob Whaley had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Whaley stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 5-3, Chicago. For the game, he was 1 for 2 with 2 walks.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Chicago manager Ollie Howard.
