Griffith got the win, improving to 1-2. He gave up 4 hits and walked 4 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. Zeke Blake wrapped it up, recording his 6th save.
Phil Story contributed to the Toronto win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
