| Pioneers 4-0 Victors Over Minutemen | St. Louis pitcher Tige Bowe had a large part in his team beating the Boston Minutemen, 4-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Bowe picked up the win for St. Louis, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 13-9. It could have been a different outcome for St. Louis, had it not been for Frank Green, the 26-year old second baseman . Green contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put St. Louis up, 2-0.
