Griswold Now 13-6 After Subduing Chiefs
In a low-scoring contest between the Pittsburgh Miners and the Chicago Chiefs, Hank Griswold, the 7th overall pick in the 1959 draft, proved to be the difference. The Pittsburgh right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Miners win. Earning the save was Mike Blackham. He's now cashed in 2 of 2 save opportunities. The victory gives the Miners a record of 67-51.

Griswold dominated for Pittsburgh, raising his record to 13-6. Chicago hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 7.
