Foresters Win, 6-4, at New York
The Cleveland Foresters beat the New York Imperials, 6-4, at Dyckman Stadium. The win was due in part to catcher Hal Kennedy, who went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Sibby Smith, the winning pitcher, improved to 12-4. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Johnny Ogden closed it out for Cleveland, earning his 17th save.

In the top of the first, Kennedy had a run-scoring double for Cleveland. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Foresters on top, 1-0.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said New York manager Bud Jameson.

The win boosted Cleveland to 62-55.
