Lally Shines in 5-3 Los Angeles Win
Los Angeles and Boston duked it out and the Suns came out victorious.

Los Angeles shortstop Tom Lally played a vital role in his team's 5-3 conquest of Boston. He went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for Los Angeles. The triumph puts Los Angeles at 66-53 for the season.

Lally had an important at-bat with a runner on 3rd in the top of the seventh, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Suns went on to win.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Los Angeles skipper Jim Coulter. "It's important to have different ways to do it."
