Miners Collect 9-7 Win Over Minutemen
The Pittsburgh Miners outlasted the Boston Minutemen, 9-7, in 11 innings. Frank Selander led the way, going 2-for-4 for Pittsburgh. The Miners, at 66-80, sit in 6th place in the Federal Association.

Selander broke a deadlock in the top of the 11th inning, when he hit a sacrifice fly, putting Pittsburgh up, 6-5.

"We busted our humps out there," said Selander.
