| Arrows Walk It Off for 60th Win of Season | Johnny Hoskinson pitched a gem to lead Milwaukee to victory over the San Francisco Sailors, 2-1. Bud Andrews came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 9-5. With the win, Milwaukee pushed its record to 60-58.
Jay Dynes was the walk-off hero for Milwaukee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Arrows third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Johnny gave us a huge shot in the arm," said Milwaukee manager Randy Hendrix.
