The Kansas City Kings cruised to a win over the Cincinnati Cannons, 12-4, at Prairie Park. Hank Williams led the way, going 2-for-5 for Kansas City. Joe Potts got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 4. With the win, the Kings sit at 74-72.

The Kings took the lead in the bottom of the second when John Wells banged a two-out single. Kansas City had been trailing 1-0, but Wells hit a 2-2 fastball from Charlie Warren for a 2-run single.
