Cougars Defeat Wolves, 7-3
The Chicago Cougars in 10 innings downed the Toronto Wolves, 7-3, at Dominion Stadium. Gene Case led the way, going 2-for-4 for Chicago. Chicago reliever Arch Wilson snagged the win, upping his record to 7-1. Sam Haygood shouldered the loss. The win for the Cougars raised their record to 43-31.

John Morrison came through with a big-time hit for Chicago. The first baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
