| Houston Drops Boston, 12-5 | 1975 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Boston Minutemen.
Houston catcher Jerry Robinson had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Boston Minutemen, 12-5. The Comets bumped their record to 63-54 with this latest triumph.
Houston used the clutch hitting of Hank Andrew to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Comets the lead, 4-3. For the game, Andrew had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Houston skipper Glenn Carney. | |
