| Dalton Dominant in Kansas City Win | Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Kansas City Mavericks and Cleveland Foresters.
The Kansas City Mavericks converted a terrific effort from starter Dave Dalton into a win over the Cleveland Foresters at Prairie Park. The Mavericks won the game by a final score of 7-0. The 5th-place Mavericks go to 50-65.
Dalton, the Kansas City right-hander, went 8.2 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits. He collected 5 strikeouts.
"Dave knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Kansas City manager Sakan Hashizume.
