The Chicago Cougars topped the Cincinnati Cannons, 4-2, in Continental Association action at Cougars Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Chicago pitcher Roger Alford. The victory gives Chicago a record of 61-53.

Chicago first baseman John Baab helped the Cougars go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Baab hit a run-scoring single off Cincinnati pitcher Ike Hawley.

Baab told a Chicago News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
