| Arrows Beat Wranglers, 9-4 | At Lakefront Park, the Dallas Wranglers and Milwaukee Arrows were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Getting offensive support from Ed Thomas, the Milwaukee Arrows topped the Dallas Wranglers, 9-4. Thomas was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Arrows. Joe Wright got credit for the win, improving to 9-9. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits in 8 innings.
Jim Stogner had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Arrows. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Milwaukee trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Stogner told the Milwaukee Herald.
