| Kings Rally For 4-2 Win | Tice Memorial Stadium II was the site of a competitive game between the Cincinnati Cannons and Seattle Kings.
Moe Lowery, who finished 4th in the CA in ERA with 3.03 in 1970, propelled his team to victory over the Cincinnati Cannons. The final score was 4-2, Seattle. The Kings are now 70-44, while the Cannons fall to 57-56.
Seattle needed the clutch hitting of Bob Glowacki to seal the deal. The right fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Kings on top, 4-2. For the game, Glowacki had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
Lowery told a Seattle News reporter that he was "very happy" with the win. | |
