Gilman goes 3-for-4, Leads Saints to Win
The Montreal Saints downed the Cincinnati Cannons, 8-4, at Stade Montreal. Andy Gilman led the way, going 3-for-4 for Montreal. Gene Faulkenberry picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-3. He struck out 3 in 6 innings. The Saints, at 28-41, sit in 8th place in the Continental Association.

With Montreal leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Gilman hit a 2-run single off Cincinnati hurler Jimmy Block. It was the 74th hit of the season for Gilman and put his team ahead, 6-3.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Gilman, "and then get after it again."
