Charlie Roberts was terrific for the Boston Minutemen in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Houston Comets. His performance earned Roberts rave reviews. The victory puts Boston at 43-68.

Boston first baseman Dick Wood contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 38th hit of the season and put the Minutemen ahead, 2-0.

"I put my work in and trusted the process," said Roberts.
