Foresters Earn Win with Late Rally
Cougars Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Cleveland Foresters and Chicago Cougars.

The Cleveland Foresters topped the Chicago Cougars, 8-7, the lion's share of the credit going to catcher Hal Kennedy. On the day, Kennedy went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Foresters. The winner in relief was Johnny Ogden. He is now 3-3. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2 innings.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Kennedy delivered big-time for Cleveland, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off Pug White. The game-changing hit put the Foresters on top, 7-5.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Kennedy.

The Foresters have an impressive 46-24 record.
