| Arrows Hand Cleveland 6-0 Loss | The Milwaukee Arrows picked up a win at Lakefront Park, taking down the Cleveland Foresters, 6-0. Starting pitcher Mel Maddox was a big reason why. Milwaukee has 3 straight wins, Cleveland 3 straight losses.
Milwaukee catcher Moose Patrick contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 100th hit of the season and put the Arrows ahead, 2-0.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Maddox. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset." | |
