| Wolves Rally to Eke Out Win | The Toronto Wolves needed 10 innings to defeat the New York Imperials, 4-3, at Dominion Stadium. Toronto left fielder Pat Kellison had a superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win went to Ray Smith in relief, making him now 8-4. Bud Pace took the loss for New York. Toronto now sits at 48-64, while New York falls to 61-53.
The Wolves got a clutch hit from center fielder Pat Schmitt. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Wolves.
