| Foresters Need Extra Innings to Top Wolves, 3-1 | In a close contest featuring the Cleveland Foresters and the Toronto Wolves, pitcher Charlie Sawyer was in the zone. The Cleveland right-hander helped his team prevail, 3-1, in 10 innings. With the win over Toronto, the Foresters improved to 51-62.
The decisive blow was delivered by Andy Babel in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off former first round draft pick Phil Colantuono to win the game for Cleveland. The home crowd went nuts.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Sawyer said. | |
