| Imperials Take Home 4-3 Win Over Toronto | New York and Toronto duked it out and the Imperials came out victorious.
The New York Imperials picked up a win at Dominion Stadium, dropping the Toronto Wolves, 4-3. Emmett Thornton, who is tied for 7th in the CA in wins with 12, was the difference-maker. The win elevated the Imperials to 61-52.
Jay Grey provided a timely hit. The New York third baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Imperials on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
Grey called the win "a team effort."
