Sailors Win 7-5 Nail-Biter Versus Wolves
The San Francisco Sailors weathered a fine game by Toronto first baseman Charlie Harvey to upend the Wolves, 7-5, at Golden Gate Stadium. Harvey was 3 for 5 with 2 triples and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The third-place Sailors improved to 77-60.

San Francisco got a game-changing hit from Edwin Hackberry. The right fielder blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said San Francisco manager Walt Zecher.
