McKinney goes 4-for-5, Leads Cannons to Win
The timely hitting of Art McKinney helped the Cincinnati Cannons down the Cleveland Foresters, 8-5. McKinney went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Cannons. The Cannons bumped their record to 39-27 with this latest triumph.

In the top of the fifth, Cincinnati third baseman Milt Senecal had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out, Senecal stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 2-1, Cincinnati. For the game, he was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said McKinney. "It sure beats the alternative."
