Boston Minutemen starter Bill Kelly turned in an exceptional performance against the New York Gothams at Minuteman Stadium, resulting in a Boston win, 5-0. New York, at 51-61, has lost 4 straight.
Kelly, who dominated for Boston, earned the victory to move to 7-10. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 7.2 innings, while striking out 6. New York batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
