The Houston Comets picked up a win at Dalton Domed Stadium, knocking off the Los Angeles Suns, 4-1. Starting pitcher Jay Hunt was a big reason why. Joe Barnes nailed down his 4th save. With the victory, the Comets record stands at 60-51.

Bob Young recorded a big out in the top of the ninth. The Suns were trailing 4-1, but Los Angeles had runners on 1st and 2nd with one out. Young threw a 2-2 curveball to Rudy Severtson, who struck out.
