Wolves Top Wranglers to Even Record | The rain did not keep Toronto and Dallas from finishing their game.
The Toronto Wolves got a stellar effort from pitcher Bill Medley, helping Toronto score a win over the visiting Dallas Wranglers, 5-2. In 6 innings, Medley surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
Sid Cullen, who won the Kellogg Award in 1959, aided the Toronto cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk.
