Wranglers Win at Toronto, 3-1 | In a low-scoring contest, Dallas pitcher Butch Abrams was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. Hank Berkowitz was credited with the save for Dallas, his 2nd of the season. Dallas now owns a record of 26-37.
The Wranglers had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 3-1, Dallas, with no one out. Toronto, with the bases empty, was mounting a threat. Carl Clark dug in at the plate, but on a 2-2 changeup, he struck out. | |
