Dynamos Lose to Eagles, 6-1 | The Washington Eagles defeated the Detroit Dynamos, 6-1, in Federal Association action at Columbia Stadium. Washington pitcher Jim Stewart had a standout performance. Stewart picked up the win for Washington, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 12-5. Otto Caudill earned his 8th save in 12 chances.
