The Cleveland Foresters picked up a win at Forester Stadium, taking down the Montreal Saints, 13-4. Starting pitcher Johnny Britton was a big reason why. The first-place Foresters now have a record of 80-57.

The Foresters took the lead in the bottom of the first when Gus Melvin banged a two-out single. Cleveland had been trailing 2-1, but Melvin hit a 2-2 fastball from Jerry Duncan for a 2-run single.

"I always try to stay as positive and as mentally strong as possible because I know how crazy this game can be," said Melvin.
