Reed Lifts Wolves to 8-3 Win
Tom Reed led Toronto to a win over Cincinnati. The final score was 8-3. Reed, who finished 5th in the CA in RBI with 106 in 1958, collected 3 RBI, while going 3 for 3 at the plate. The first baseman also scored 2 times. Lee Loeffler earned the win, while former first round draft pick Jack Meeks took the loss for Cincinnati. Toronto's record now stands at 53-54, placing them 6th in the Continental Association.

With Toronto leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Reed hit a slider from Jack Meeks for a 2-run double. It was his 16th double of the season and put the Wolves ahead, 4-0.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Reed.
