The Montreal Saints topped the Toronto Wolves, 4-2, in Continental Association action at Dominion Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Montreal pitcher Hal Bennett. Bennett yielded 2 runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 12-6. The 4th-place Saints now have a record of 50-58.

In the top of the 4th, Montreal took the lead on a 2-run home run by Eddie Thomas. At the time, the Saints were trailing 2-1, but Thomas's hit with two outs against Toronto pitcher Don Bradner put them in front, 3-2.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Bennett said.
