| Eagles Grind Out 2-0 Win | In a tight contest between the Washington Eagles and the Boston Minutemen, Herman White was the determining factor. The Washington right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-0 win. Don Eddy earned the save, his 4th. The Eagles go to 43-65 with the win.
The Eagles got a big at-bat from right fielder Jimmy Henderson. For the game, Henderson was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Washington a 2-0 lead.
