Behind a fine performance from Vern Schneider, the Cleveland Foresters knocked off the Montreal Saints, 9-4. Schneider went 3-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Foresters. With the win, the Foresters hiked their record to 57-51.

Red Miller aided the Cleveland cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder drove in 2 runs.
