People outside the ballpark no doubt heard the roar of the crowd as the winning run crossed the plate.

The Cincinnati Cannons topped the Montreal Saints, 6-5, with catcher Art McKinney playing a big role. McKinney went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Cannons in the win. The 4th-place Cannons now sit at 70-60.

Nick Remillard was the walk-off hero for Cincinnati. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cannons third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Winning is the only objective," said Remillard after the game.
