Minutemen Get Better of Keystones, 4-2
The Boston Minutemen topped the Philadelphia Keystones, 4-2, in Federal Association action at Broad Street Park II. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston shortstop Walter Huckaby. Bud Shireman earned his 19th save, after closing out the game. Boston is now 60-48, Philadelphia 53-57.

With Boston leading 2-1 in the top of the second, Huckaby hit a screwball from Doc Carver for a solo home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Minutemen ahead, 3-1.

"We took home the win," said Huckaby. "What's not to like?"
