Los Angeles reliever Harry Draper picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. Hal Alsip was tagged with the loss. Los Angeles is now 60-48, while Chicago is 45-63.
Sam Forrester was 2 for 4 with a double against the Chiefs. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Los Angeles in front, 6-5.
